INCE Colombia | training 1,000 teachers

The alliance in Colombia has been continuously reaching out to schools in the past weeks due to participating schools sharing contact details of other schools who have shown an interest in the program. The schools are experiencing the positive approach and methodology of the manual and program and the excitement is spreading!

The program is now working with a little over 1,000 teachers. The team has been able to visit several different locations in the past weeks to talk with teachers and schools and observe the difference the program is already making across many communities in Colombia.

The program has furthermore been engaging with the public sector more intentionally through the various connections of alliance members. There have been many meetings with secretaries of Education in various regions which will potentially open doors for the program in the coming years.

Within these possible connections, there is also an institute for child well-being that works particularly with pre-school children, which is an interesting opportunity for the manual and program to play a role in early childhood development. We will continue to explore the different opportunities and work hard as a team on the steady expansion of the program in Colombia.
