Green light

The consortium had all the materials printed out and ready to be transported to all the localities, however, the Ministry took the first several months of the year to review all the programs that were being implemented by the past administration which unfortunately took a long time. But finally, at the end of May, we received the official “green light” so that we could start implementing the program. Teachers had been waiting patiently, but were happy to start again!

Final year

The first group of teachers we started with in 2021 is now entering their fourth and final year of the program which will be very much project-based, setting them up with the tools and experience to enter a constant cycle of improvement projects at personal, classroom and school level. The consortium is also working hard to reflect on what further steps need to be taken to have the teachers engaged and connected to other opportunities to further grow in quality education, now that a very fruitful basis has been laid!

Facebook community

In our closed Facebook community we now also have teachers sharing their expertise and insights through practical videos made in the classrooms by the teachers themselves. This is a wonderful development ensuring that the teachers are now forming a solid and sustainable online sharing community.
